Here is the best portrait I have ever taken. While backstage at a Journey concert in 1982, with an opening act on stage, I stumbled across Steve Smith, the drummer for Journey, privately playing along with the band. Not wanting to intrude, I snapped a single frame. I could not have posed the picture better, from the backstage clutter to the informal dumming, this portrait just works.
