Why RocDoc?Simply because it is the first nickname given me that I actually liked! One night, a combination of alcohol and fine musicianship by the Deanna Bogart Band drove me into a dancing-fool frenzy. Someone in the band said "that doc rocks", and the next thing I knew I was the RocDoc. Since music is one of my two favorite subjects to photograph (the other being nature), RocDocPhoto.com seemed as good a name as any for photography business...

| Take a Vet Fishing Got a nice early morning chopper ride to shoot the start of the Marathon Community Classic Veteran's event. The organizers primarily wanted video, but I did manage to get a few nice stills. Pictures of the awards ceremony and pig roast are online here as well. |

Marathon Offshore
Grand Prix The Marathon Offshore Grand Prix was held May 14
and 15. I have proof pages sorted by class.

Bridge Bash
Besides the Offshore Grand Prix, Marathon put on a couple of concerts
Friday and Saturday nights, and also hosted a Motorcycle show and
a "Miss
Surf and Turf" beauty contest, quite
a weekend...

| Mt. Tremblant Blues Festival July in Quebec...what fun. I took what may be my best band portfolio, of a group called the Christian Malette Big Band. Cooperative light, a good venue (how often can you take wide shots from a ski-lift?), and a photogenic band made for a set of pictures I'm quite pleased with. I'd like to share these with Christian, but I can't find an email address for him. If you found me on a web search and know one, please email me.
